YOKOKIMTHURSTON

On February 26, 2011, Yoko Ono, Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore met at Manhattan’s Sear Sound, in a wild collision of song-form, poetics, free-rock and classic glossolalic ecstasy.  Heard as a whole, YOKOKIMTHURSTON is mesmerizing. The interplay of the three musicians’ voices is total. The improvisations and spontaneous compositions are gorgeous both sonically and philosophically. And we should all smile now that this inevitable collaboration was brought forth.
